Scott Brown, Co-Owner
Scott spent 22 years in the telecommunications industry and worked in a variety of senior management positions. He honed his skills in customer service and was responsible for multiple JD Power awards for providing the best customer service in his field. Taking that knowledge and desire to create a company for himself and his family, he began discussions with City Wide. Scott began operations in Colorado and was one of the first City Wide franchisees. After building the Colorado location into a successful and prosperous operation, he expanded into several additional markets including San Antonio, Austin, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Seattle. Today, Scott focuses on providing his employees with the tools they need to succeed and deliver the most outstanding client experience possible.
John Suranyi, Co-Owner
Over a 25-year career in the telecommunications industry, John has primarily worked in senior management roles for cable and satellite companies. In 2008, John joined forces with Scott Brown to open City Wide of San Antonio. Since then they have expanded to several other markets including Austin, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Seattle. President and chief executive officer of SENCORE since 2009, John came to the company from DIRECTV, Inc., where he served as president of sales and service. Previously, John was CEO of Cheetah Advanced Technologies, Inc., a Colorado ERP software developer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from the University of Wyoming.
Dustin Landes, Co-Owner & General Manager
Dustin’s experience at City Wide of San Antonio has been from the ground up. As one of the co-founders and the current general manager, Dustin is ingrained in all aspects of the company. Dustin has more than 15 years of experience in the service industry and more than 10 years in management. This impressive resume gives Dustin the essential knowledge to ensure every client receives the services they require. Dustin’s goal for City Wide is to provide his clients with a more professional solution to their janitorial and building maintenance needs.
Derek Smith, Sales Executive
Derek joined City Wide of San Antonio as a Senior Sales Executive. He has a strong focus on setting every client up for success with their building maintenance by understanding their business, delivering a high level of service and combining a consultative approach with a solution oriented perspective. With more than 20 years of experience in a business to business environment, Derek understands that open communication and understanding the clients’ areas of pain upfront are crucial to establishing a successful relationship.
