City Wide Participates in Kansas Speedway Event, Bikers for Babies

November 10, 2011

City Wide of Kansas City participated in the 10th annual March of Dimes: Bikers for Babies event this year at the Kansas Speedway. In the 10 years the event has been held at the Kansas Speedway the number of participants has grown from a mere 1,000 riders to more than 6,000, making it the largest motor cycle ride in the country. This year the event, which took place on September 19, 2010, raised more than $700,000 for the March of Dimes.

“We have now been working with the Kansas Speedway for 9 years and to see that many bikers out on the track, supporting the efforts of the March of Dimes, was truly amazing,” said Rob Ellis, vice president for City Wide of Kansas City. “We look forward to every event we get to help out at the Speedway and are so thankful for the opportunity to help put on amazing events like this one.”

“All of the staff and vendors did a great job making sure the event went off without a hitch,” said Kansas Speedway president, Patrick Warren. “We are very happy with the work that City Wide performs for us.  They do a great job of keeping our facility clean.”
