Jeff Smith, President
A born and bred Indiana native, Jeff’s passion for exploring the uncharted led him to begin his own story and open City Wide of Indianapolis in 2005. Jeff spent the first 10 years of his professional career in the telecommunications industry where he gained vital experience managing teams and the skills necessary to grow a thriving service organization. With a passion for leadership, Jeff brings the same team approach to his office as he does to his clients. Under Jeff’s successful guidance, City Wide of Indianapolis is a two-time Franchise of the Year winner, indicating our growth and customer retention success.
Costa Demou, Director of Operations
Costa joined City Wide in 2015 as Director of Operations. He has a long history in the customer service industry, operations, and sales and strives to exceed his customers’ expectations. Costa thrives on leading a team of Facility Service Managers, helping them develop their skills and abilities, and providing assistance in taking care of their customers’ building maintenance needs. Costa believes in developing business partnerships with customers, vendors, and coworkers, and he strives to convey that during his daily operations.
Michelle Hemmerling, Sales Executive
Michelle joined City Wide of Indianapolis as a Sales Executive in 2008. In 2009, she was awarded the Barbara McGlinchy Mental Attitude Award, given to an individual who demonstrates a positive attitude in the face of adversity. Her regognitions include being awarded City Wide’s National Sales Person of the Year in 2009 and 2011, repeatedly being recognized for both Chairman’s Club (4 years) and Achievers Club (9 years). All of these awards recognize her ability to create solutions and save money for her growing list of clients. Michelle brings her passion for problem solving to every client and loves to hear new clients tell her how amazed they are by the City Wide difference.
Jonathan Schatzlein, New Start Specialist
Jonathan joined City Wide Maintenance of Indianapolis in 2013. He started out as a Night Manager but was promoted to a new role, New Start Specialist, to assist clients and team members alike in making sure that our company meets or exceeds the expectations of all parties. His experience before City Wide focused heavily on customer service and quality control. He feels his greatest strength is the ability to communicate with clients and address their concerns while simultaneously strengthening their relationship with City Wide.
Elizabeth Chappell, Facility Services Manager
Elizabeth is a Facility Services Manager at City Wide handling our Indianapolis North Side customers. Her magnetic personality and outstanding work ethic made her an excellent choice to round out our management team. She enjoys helping her clients solve the headaches of managing maintenance vendors and proactively addressing the needs of each unique facility.
Nicole Murphy, Facility Services Manager
Nicole joined the City Wide team in 2014 as a Facility Services Manager. She has several years of proven management experience with a strong background in sales and customer service. Nicole strives to develop personal relationships with her clients every day and hopes to become an integral part of their management process. Her hard work and dedication are truly an asset to City Wide.
Erica Earl, Facility Services Manager
Erika joined City Wide in 2014 as a Facility Services Manager servicing the South West territory for City Wide of Indianapolis. With a background emphasizing both customer service and property management, Erika joined the team with a strong focus on building customer relationships and delivering results. Happy clients are important, but Erika’s goal is to develop long standing partnerships with her clients so that she is the one point of contact for all of their facility maintenance solutions.
Matthew Smith, Facility Services Manager
Matthew joined City Wide in 2015 as a Facility Services Manager servicing the North West territory for City Wide of Indianapolis. With a background in customer service and sales, Matthew joined the team with a strong focus on building and maintaining customer relationships and delivering results. Happy clients are important, but Matthew's goal is to develop long standing partnerships with his clients so that he is the one point of contact for all of their facility maintenance solutions.
Dan Bain, Facility Services Manager
Dan joined the Indianapolis City Wide team as a Facility Service Manager in 2015. With a degree in Economics and a strong background in customer service, Dan prides himself on making sure that customer’s expectations are met and exceeded. Dan focuses primarily on smaller accounts in the Indianapolis region; strengthening relationships and bringing a positive atmosphere to every customer, every time.
Nancy Knight, Controller
We welcomed Nancy to the City Wide of Indianapolis team in 2015 as Controller. Nancy began her career as a CPA in public accounting before shifting to corporate general ledger. She has worked her way up to management positions in accounting, customer service, sales and corporate strategy. With 30 years of business experience, Nancy brings a broad business background to City Wide. Outside of her accounting skills, she has working knowledge of several disciplines that are key components to City Wide’s continued growth and success.
Melanie Williams, Accounting Clerk
We welcomed Melanie to the City Wide family in the fall of 2013 as our Accounting Clerk. She has become an integral part of our staff taking on a wide range of duties including office management, accounts payable and receivable, human resources, recruiting, and collections. Melanie’s hard work and dedication are what keeps our operations in check. A true go-getter, she is always eager to take on new challenges. Melanie has a charismatic personality that is welcoming not only to her coworkers, but to City Wide’s clients and service providers.
Jennifer McNeely, Marketing and Sales Support Specialist
Jennifer came to City Wide in 2013 as a member of our Business Administration team, leading our marketing and social media efforts while offering support to our Operations team. More recently she has shifted her focus from Operations to Sales Support and has added the role of Email Coordinator to her responsibilities. Jennifer is a graduate of Indiana University and brings a drive for organization and efficiency. Her creative nature works exceptionally well in bringing new ideas to our marketing campaign.
